Well i've been thinking about who i would put as my top driver of the weekend and its a difficult one as so many impressive performances. These are the 3 that i've picked but could have written up so many others.
Button - From start to end he didn't make a mistake and built himself up a lead. Clearly he's got a fast car but more than that he looked more than equal to Hamilton which hasn't been the case before when they are both on form. If Hamilton gets the car working he's normally far and away quicker than Button but it seemed even.
Vettel - Fought well to get up the order and deserved his place. His determination was relentless and this earnt him a 2nd place. He did get lucky with the safety car though to get past Hamilton but you have to earn luck and he certainly did that.
Perez - Great performance from Perez even though he had a dissapointing qualifying day he came through strong in the race with a 1 stop race which worked well for him. He came through in 8th. Can't wait to see how Perez and team mate Kobayashi can do this year if they have the pace to challenge Mercedes and Ferrari. Some of the old guard will get a real test from these two for sure.
